People ask this kind of stuff all the time and all that ever happens is people say search for it, but anytime someone resurrects a thread so people can see it and not post the same thing - people jump down their throats. So before anything like thats posted - they can just resist the urge to hit Post Reply.
Now. pets are basically the same (within their own prefix group). The only differences: They are either Slashing or Piercing dmg, and The Bear's Brutal Mauling makes it slower than the rest, but really doesnt add any damage...
I like Dune Lizards though Look cool.

All pets are the same, aside from their damage type and species. By species, I mean EoE-wise, when 1 Wolf dies, all other wolves take xxx amount of damage, but not hogs, since hogs are hogs and not wolves. Damage compared to BM, attack speed, move speed, HP and Armor are all the same.

you wont be able to tame a bear in pre-sear. You will have to go post sear and then into the shiverpeaks to tame a black bear.

Hmm, when did that change? In the early days if you had an interrupt, charming worked fine...
Does anyone have a pic of an advanced dune lizard? I'm wondering how large they get.

hah green chest.
you do a few quests in the underworld, and then a elder black widow spider comes out of a crack in the wall or something, then you can tame it. this is hard though, and some pps are offering services for it for over 50k.

Best pet would obviously be... Dune Lizard! Nothing wrong with mini-godzilla's running around killing everything they see.

Strider/Moa Bird is the best!!!
It's huge, easier to see.
It's annoying, easier to annoy your opponents.
